
Constance (Connie) Traylor was born and educated in Chicago, IL, and has spent much of her spiritual and professional career in the field of educating and helping others achieve their full potential. Connie Traylor is a graduate of Kennedy-King College, Chicago College of Commerce Connie received her BA in Psychology and her MS in Marriage and Family Counseling from Governor State University. Connie meticulously exemplifies every form of human communications as is pertinent to human understanding. She magnifies her secretarial skills and training as can be seen and heard through the gifts of voice and writing. Without a doubt, her superb background in writing skills are sought by institutions that are seeking competence and efficiency. Because of her caring persona, people seem to be drawn to Connie as one who projects a caring attitude and spirit. Personality wise, she seems to embody some of the great women of the bible that has touched many lives. Her spirit has the movement of intense interest, the kind that produces insight.
For the past twenty-nine years, Connie has utilized her zeal for excellence by completing tasks at the Chatham-Avalon Church of Christ where she is currently employed as an Executive Assistant. She serves in numerous capacities and is known as a confidant, caregiver, motivator, and peacemaker. She displays a unique passion for helping others and unselfishly provides comfort to those in need. Connie also serves as the Treasurer for the Chatham-Avalon Ministries Food Pantry. In addition to working for the Chatham-Avalon Church of Christ, Connie has served as the National Registration Coordinator and the National Secretary for the Crusade for Christ for the past 26 years. She is a member of the Chicagoland Crusade for Christ staff, a member of the National Psychological Association, and a member of the National Parents and Teachers Association.
Connie is married to Bennie C. Traylor, Sr., and they are the proud parents of two beautiful children, Ebonie Connie Traylor, and Bennie C. Traylor, Jr.; and the proud grandparent of London Symone Jarrett and Paris Nikkia Jarrett her pride and joy. Connie is a member of the Chatham-Avalon Church of Christ where Dr. Daniel Harrison servers as Evangelist. She enjoys reading, working with the youth, participating in various church activities, and mentoring to her girls in Chosen-2-B-Special.
